Welcome to Silver Hue Vet Imaging!  Here is a little bit about me.  I am originally from Denver, Colorado.  I attended Colorado State University for my undergraduate degree, veterinary school (2006 graduate) and diagnostic imaging residency.  I obtained my radiology board certification with ACVR in 2012.  Following my residency, I worked as a mobile radiologist in northern Colorado.  I then moved to the Seattle area and worked in a private specialty hospital.  In late 2015, I transitioned to teleradiology full time.  Currently, I'm living in the beautiful tropical forest of Costa Rica.  I love traveling and recently achieved my goal of visiting all 7 continents.  I also love anything related to nature and conservation.  When I am not focused on diagnostic imaging, you will find me outside hiking, biking, birding, or training dogs.

Silver Hue Veterinary Imaging was created in 2017 with the initial purpose of teleradiology.  The name Silver Hue is in remembrance of my blue merle sheltie, Huey.  While interpreting ultrasounds submitted through teleradiology, the idea of providing continuing education courses for travel-loving DVMs and vet techs in Costa Rica was created.  In addition, SHVI also provides mobile ultrasounds in northern Colorado.
